Our EYFS curriculum
At Mini Morgans, children learn through play, exploration, and supportive relationships. Our curriculum is aligned to the
Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), helping children build strong foundations for their next steps.
What learning looks like day to day
- Language rich play, stories, songs, and conversations
- Creative activities including art, music, and role play
- Early maths through sorting, counting, patterns, and games
- Physical development through movement, fine motor, and outdoor play
- Personal and social skills, turn taking, independence, and confidence
Supporting communication and confidence
Communication is at the heart of everything we do. We model language, listen carefully, and help children express needs and feelings.
This supports friendships, behaviour, and early literacy.
Observation and next steps
We observe children regularly and plan next steps around interests and development. Families receive updates and can share what is happening
at home so learning connects across both settings.
School readiness
School readiness is not about worksheets. It is about confidence, independence, listening skills, resilience, and social readiness.
We gently build these skills through routine and play.
